About us

Our Focus

Our Big Bang event is centered around the WLW relationships and identities of the Honkai Star Rail characters, something important to both us and other fans alike! Our hope is that with this project, we will be able to bring more light to these relationships and dynamics, helping everyone to have more content to consume, and to be more comfortable within the community as a whole —!

What is a big bang?

As described by the Fanlore Wiki, a BIG BANG, or “Bang” for short, is an event in which writers and artists collaborate in order to create longer length fics, accompanied by artwork of scenes, characters, ETC !!It begins with our wonderful writers, who sign up to take part in the challenge and begin writing their fic of choice! When the early drafts of these stories become available, in comes our artists, who will be assigned to their respective writer and will create fanart to go along with the story!In the end, we will have accumulated a collection of wonderful narratives, paired with incredible pieces of art put together and presented by fans, for fans, for everyone to read through, admire, and enjoy —!

How will it work?

After our INTEREST CHECK closes, we will review our results and announce our MODERATOR APPLICATIONS ! Similarly, we will review our results, before launching our CONTRIBUTOR APPLICATIONS, and once accepted, contributors will receive the link to our discord server, and we will begin the processes of working alongside our writers, artists, and beta readers in more detail —!

Who can participate?

ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome to apply !! Our only limitations are a barring of any and all AI GENERATED content, including but not limited to:
Character AI, ChatGPT, AI Art Models, ETC.
Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of skill level or experience, and as this will be a larger scale project, as long as you are confident in your ability to adhere to the set deadlines and workload, we would love to have you aboard with us —!

How will we be paired?

Generally, we'd like to use this event to foster new collaborations, and as such creators will be paired based on INTEREST and SKILL
However, if there are any issues between partners, or a request for a change, we will discuss with both parties to honor it —!
As a general rule, if NSFW works are included, both artists and writers MUST be over 18, as well as having indicated they would be comfortable paired with NSFW content.

Where can we see the final products?

Upon completion, all works will be posted individually on the respective contributors' SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, as well as reposted on our own! For written works as well, an AO3 COLLECTION will be made to encompass all of the work done by our wonderful writers —!
